If you are in the market for a drill, one of the biggest worries you might have in your mind is the drill prices in Kenya. A search online or if you are window shopping for a drill, you might have realized there are so many available brands to choose from and different types of drills at different price points. Even for those replacing old drills, choosing between the many modern drills available can be confusing.
Factors that affect the prices of a drill
There are many factors that go into determining how much money you will pay for your power drill. Here are some of those factors;
Corded or cordless – power drills can either be corded or cordless. Corded drills require to be tethered to the socket to draw power from the mains during operation. Cordless drills on the other hand draw their power form lithium ion batteries. They do not require to be connected to a mains source and therefore are more portable. Due to the fact that they operate on batteries, cordless drills are not as powerful as corded ones.
The prices of cordless and corded drills differ. Because of the fact that they are more powerful and more smooth in operation, corded drills usually cost a bit more than cordless drills do. But, this is not given because some cordless drills can cost more than their corded counterparts.
